Change Your Lead has been selected to join the fifth annual 2026 Horses for Mental Health (HMH) Campaign, a global movement raising awareness and funding for programs that bring horses and people together for healing, connection, and emotional well-being.

This recognition places Change Your Lead among a select group of programs worldwide that demonstrate high standards in both client and equine welfare. Specifically, verification on the licenses, certification and credibility of our facilitators along with veterinarian support documentation for the standards of care of the horses.

Last year, we raised funds to assist with creating subsidized wellness and educational offerings for our community. This year, we will be focused on support for the care of our horses who help individuals to heal and thrive. 

The campaign runs May 1–31, 2026, during Mental Health Awareness Month. In addition to awareness shared online, we would love to welcome you to our barn for gatherings on May 3rd and 17th, stay tuned for details!
