Embodied EquestrianS: Managing What Gets in the Way
Dr. Caroline Vetter, licensed Clinical and Sport Psychologist specializing in supporting equestrians, is offering a two-hour presentation aiding riders in developing mental skills for their riding. In collaboration with Change Your Lead, this clinic will be offered in Petaluma, California and open to all equestrians (any age and discipline)! This clinic will offer equestrians a small tack trunk full of tools to help them manage fear, anxiety, and a harsh inner critic and build confidence through the development of mindfulness skills, nervous system regulation and values-based goal setting. We will also spend time practicing some tools together at the barn surrounded by horses. There will be time for questions and everyone will get a printout of the presentation to take home.
